Coach LaDarius Drew proudly serves as the president of the illustrious Metroplex West Wranglers. A Texas native and proud graduate of the West Mesquite Class of 2010, he returns home with a wealth of experience and a passion for uplifting his community. He holds a Master’s in Social Studies and a Bachelor’s in International Politics from Wesleyan University, where he excelled both academically and athletically. As a record-holding track & field athlete and a key member of Wesleyan's football resurgence—leading the program to conference championships and consecutive winning seasons—Coach Drew embodies the principles of discipline, leadership, and perseverance. His career spans coaching successful college track & field athletes, revitalizing athletics at the Frederick Gunn School over eight years—including four seasons as head football coach—and five years as an executive team administrator, serving as Director of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion. Now an educator, Coach Drew teaches 5th grade social studies at Barbara Walker Elementary in Crandall, where he continues to inspire young minds. His platform, "A good person is always learning," and his philosophy, "Realm of Influence," guide his commitment to fostering growth in students and athletes alike.

As president of the Wranglers, Coach Drew is dedicated to building a thriving program that shines a bright light on the West Side of Mesquite. His leadership, vision, and unwavering commitment to excellence will propel the organization to new heights.

As the VP of Metroplex West, I am dedicated to ensuring the success, growth, and integrity of our programs. With a strong commitment to leadership and accountability, I support our day-to-day operations, strategic initiatives, and community outreach efforts to help elevate the impact of our youth organization.

I bring a collaborative approach to leadership—working closely with our team, families, and community partners to foster an environment built on trust, development, and accountability. My goal is to help every member of our organization thrive and achieve excellence, both on and off the field.

Brian Carter is a dedicated husband and father of three, committed to fostering the growth and development of young minds. With a robust educational background, Brian holds degrees in Business Administration, Accounting, and Education. We are proud to introduce Mrs. Stormy, our amazing Cheer Director for Metroplex West Lady Wranglers. Mrs. Stormy has a strong background in community service and youth sports. Before joining the Wrangler family, she was actively involved in drill team within MD1. 

Always willing to lend a helping hand, Mrs. Stormy is a true asset to our organization, and we’re grateful for everything she does to keep our Wranglers family strong!
